Finally

It's hard to describe holding on to something that you have doubts will last a lifetime. I gave it my ALL, nothing less than my ALL and why do I feel as if it was not my loss? I knew from the start that forever might not come into a reality but I took the risk, I fought and I bled. Now, I am tired of fighting, I gave it one last shot, I gave it every ounce of me until I have nothing left to give. Can I honestly say I'm happy at the end of it all? Yes, I am happy because now I know just how much I can love someone. It was never easy but I sailed on the rough seas even when others around me told me it was not worth the fight anymore. I sailed on in high hopes of finding a real treasure. It reminds me of Coelho's The Alchemist. After going through difficulties, journeying to places where he's never been, his treasure is right where he left off. My treasure is still my family and friends who stood by me though I have neglected them in my quest to find my real treasure. It's still hard to accept reality, i wished that it was just a nightmare and I'd wake up beside the one I love. But this is reality and reality is, someone else is making him happy. I should really just be happy for him. Even if loving means letting go, I am still willing to take that road. *sigh* Thank you friends, for showing me that I am still loved and I am a treasure even if the one I loved did not see that.
